The Chieftesses - Other characters
I am still planning this book, but I can only name the main characters. Those who have been named before shall not be named again.
English Mynet
English was Mizu's second daughter and Ohayou's younger sister. She looked a lot like her mother; both in looks as well as in personality. She didn't smile often and often fought with Ohayou; stating she was too careless. Even though she was the complete opposite from Ohayou, she deeply cared for her sister and was her advisor (even though it didn't always seem like that). English died without having any children of her own. She always carried a jewel that was designed for her: a rising sun, appearing from behind the moon, decorated with three feathers. This was a gift from Azur, her father.

Hitori Mynth
Hitori is one of the few people on Seken who is born with grey hair. Hitori is kind, calm and dislikes people who raise their voice. It is still unknown if she ever fought along with a weapon, or that she prefered magic. Hitori was the third child of Mizu and Azur. She left together with French to find their place in life and ended up saving 'Touched by Frozen War'; a tribe. She married Kaze from that tribe and got two daughters: Ameya and Himawari. Together with French she reigned the tribe, but when Hitori died, French stepped back as well. Because French's son Cargan was the oldest, he took the lead. Hitori is a caring character, often being the shoulder to cry on or the one to ask for advise.

French Ftynm
French's second name is quite hard to pronounce, but it gets easier if you make the 'n' and 'm' almost sound alike. French was a real tomboy, rough around the edges and speaking whatever was on her mind. This often made her clinch with her mother; Mizu. She was Mizu's fourth daughter and the one who fought most with her. She has a scar on her (for her) left cheek and this scar was the result of one of the fights with her mother. French left together with Hitori to find her place in life and ended up at 'Touched with Frozen War'. She married Alain, one of the tribemembers, and together they got Cargan. When Hitori died, French resigned and Cargan took the lead. The leadership would flow through that bloodline from then on.

Yamashima Nytym
Yamashima lived the longest of the Six Sisters; being the fifth child of Mizu and Azur. She often thought she was not useful and eventually left the tribe to gather knowledge in the desert. She found knowledge and brought three friends back. She had a crush on one of them, Duke, but had to forget him when he turned out to be her younger sister's Sonaï! Yamashima was ignored by both Anzu and Hana, but adored by Amai. Together with Otter, the child of the two other friends who came from the desert, Yamashima got three children; all of them left home: Cegea, Saki and Chilène (also known as 'Chilli' or 'Chill'). Yamashima was kind, but often more than insecure. She always wore a red rose in her curly brown hair and was a kind and loving tribe member. She knew she had to let go of her children, but each time it broke her heart.

Italian Tymin
Italian was the youngest daughter of Mizu and Azur. Mizu died when she was still before her teens, but the girl misses her mother greatly. She easily accepts her place, while her older sister Yamashima desperately goes looking for it. Italian loves to act silly yet it is hard to notice her. Her Sonaï comes from the desert, by the name of Duke and together they got Bloom. Bloom and Chilli were best friends. Italian did care about her daughter, but let her go quite fast. She realised it was her life and that she should be allowed to make her own decisions as well as mistakes. Even though she did not show it, she was worried when Bloom left the IceHunters with her Sonaï.

Cegea
Cegea's full name is Casey Ginger Amber AquaLupa (also called A.L.). If you put her initials of her first three names together, you get C.G.A.; one of the ways to spell Cegea's name. Daughter of Yamashima and Otter, Cegea was heiress of the IceHunter throne if anything would happen to Amai. Cegea never liked Amai and eventually even challenged the Chieftess for the leadership. Amai surprisingly won, but Cegea was too ashamed and left. She found a dying fishing tribe and pulled it back together, naming it AquaLupa. She married a man named Taro and together they got Whisper Shadowhunter; their heiress that would one day save Chilli from a river. Whisper Shadowhunter was named after the first two wolves of Naraku and Cegea never knew she had any siblings.

Saki
Years after Cegea left, Saki was born and became heir of the IceHunters. He always longed for wisdom and knowledge, just like his mother, but was not a bad fighter. He often spent his days within the library. He knows about his big sister, but never knew about his little one. Saki left one day, off to the desert where his grandparents from his father's side originated from, as well as looking for knowledge. He promised he would return, but when he left, Yamashima knew that he could not keep his promise. It is unknown what became of him. Did he die? Did he find his own tribe like his big sister? We may never know...

Chilène
Better known as Chilli, Chilli was born years after Saki left. She then took the place of heiress, as Amai still didn't have an heir. She knew about her older siblings and was often curious about them. Her best friend was Bloom, born around the same time as she was. Chilli was a fancy girl; she cared a lot about her looks. This all changed when Bloom left with her Sonaï. Chilli then thought it was time for her to leave as well and said good bye. During her travels, she accidentally fell into a river with a strong current. A girl with a skin alike hers saved her and introduced herself as Whisper Shadowhunter. The girl took Chilli along to her tribe, where she introduced the girl to the Chieftess: Cegea.

Bloom
Even though Italian found her Sonaï Duke, it would still take many years before they were finally blessed with a child. They called her Bloom and she became best friends with Chilli. While Chilli was more into fashion, Bloom was a lot more calm. She didn't really care about fashion or looks, but managed to look amazing while she wore nothing special. Chilli was outgoing, Bloom was silent and sometimes pushing herself into the back. She left the IceHunters when she found her Sonaï.

Keiji
Keiji is a charming hunter; or at least, that's what Anzu thinks! Keiji is manipulative by heart and does whatever he can to get his way. He is very smart and more than patient. When he realised Anzu was the Chieftess of the IceHunters, he realised what kind of prey he could be hunting on. He did anything for Anzu; winning her heart and stricking when she least expected it. He doesn't care about anyone but himself, which was clear when he killed his own son. In the end, it was Anzu who had to stop the one she loved so much. Even after she had to kill him, she wanted to heal him, but knew it was better for the tribe to let him go.

Crowan
Also known as 'Crow', Crowan was the heir of Anzu. The throne would one day be his, if it wasn't for his destructive father. Crowan looks a lot like his father; he doesn't mind manipulating others for his own needs. He did find out about his father's betrayal and didn't approve of it. He picked his mother's side; one he had to pay with his life.

Twan
Twan was the second son of Anzu and Keiji. When Keiji betrayed his mother, he could not pick sides. Horrified that his mother had to kill his father, Twan left the IceHunters.

Naku
Naku was the third son of Anzu and Keiji; silent and peaceful by heart. When his father betrayed Anzu, Naku always blaimed himself; he should have seen this coming! He stays in MorningSnow, but hardly ever smiles again. When Hana gets born, he wants to stay away from her as much as possible. He is ashamed to be her big (half)brother but protects her from a distance. Little does he know that this mysterious behaviour attracts Hana. Naku tries to fight his own feelings as much as possible, but he cannot help himself. He loves her, even though he doesn't want to marry her or anything else and he would do anything for the one who has stolen his heart.

Fade Fanthaomy
During the pregnacy of Fade, Amai got an illness, which made the entire tribe worry about her. Amai lived, but it was uncertain if the baby would survive. When the baby was born, it was weak as they expected. Amai accepted the fact the child would die within a few days, naming her Fade ('fading away...'). Amai prepared herself for Fade's death each and every day, but strangely enough her death didn't come! Fade grew up, still being weak, worrying every tribe member with each cough. Her little brother Rhino was her protector, but in order to save him in battle, Fade gave Rhino all her strength... which was the only thing that had kept her alive...

Rhino Rymtanhoa
Third and youngest child of Amai and Meral, Rhino always felt protective of his bigger sister Fade. He knew she was weak and from a young age he proclaimed himself 'her knight'. He never left that title; worrying about his sister above anyone else. He could be considered a bit overprotective but it was needed. Rhino was a strong warrior who loved his sister no matter what. When she gave him her strength during battle, Rhino rushed back as soon as he could. For all he cared MorningSnow could have exploded; he only had eyes for his big sister...

Whisper Shadowhunter
Whisper Shadowhunter is often called Whisper. She is named after the first two wolves of Naraku; the first Chieftess of the IceHunters. Her mother, Cegea, always worshipped Naraku and wanted to honour her by naming her daughter after the two wolves she loved most. Whisper is agile and fun-loving. She likes to play in the woods as well as loves to swim. Her thoughts can go from one side to the other and she can be quite the chatterbox. However, when needed, Whisper is a warrior to watch out for! She is heiress of the AquaLupa, a tribe who lives from fishing as well as hunting. She saves Chilli when she sees the girl almost drowning in a strong river.

Hihoshi
Hihoshi is a strong willed young man who lives for justice. His position gives him this power and he will use it as he sees it fit. It took a while until he finally got rid of the corruption within his domain. He married Cherish; a wealthy lady. It was an arranged marriage, but both Hihoshi and Cherish had a deep respect for each other. Hihoshi and Cherish always tried to get an heir, but it turned out not to be. Hihoshi died without an heir, but not without a son.

Cherish
Cherish married Hihoshi after an arranged marriage. She is the typical lady from that time: obedient, silent and caring for her husband. She was loved by all and that was exactly the thing that gave her trouble. One man, whose name was taken away as part as the punishment, loved her so much he couldn't stay away from her any more, no matter how much she tried. She was ashamed to face her husband, especially since she was pregnant! Hihoshi knew it wasn't her fault (even though she thought it was) and proclaimed that her child would be raised as if it was his, but could never be an heir. The child was Tavar, who was never kept into the dark about his father.

Tavar
Even though Tavar was the result of an unspeakable act, he was still welcome. Hihoshi realised that his wife would probably never had any child again and let her keep it. It was hard for Cherish at the beginning, but she loves Tavar as he is her only child. Tavar grew up to be a strong and courageous warrior, who fought for the rights of women. He honoured his adoptive father above anyone else and sees him as his true father. According to Tavar, parents are not decided by blood, but by heart.

Anwar
When it was clear Hihoshi couldn't get an heir, his sister had to make sure there would be one. Luckily, Mayonaka's first child was a boy (the heirs could only be boys in that area), called Anwar. Anwar grew up with Tavar; both as close as brothers. Anwar knows about Tavar's father, but doesn't blame neither Tavar nor Cherish. Anwar hopes that when it will be his time, Tavar will be at his side. Anwar is loved by all; he has the courage from his father and the beauty and wisdom from his mother. He is very responsible by nature and does his best to grow into a strong and wise warrior.

Helia
Helia is Mayonaka's second child and twinsister of Neona. Both Helia and Neona are famous because of their beautiful looks; many men would take over a kingdom just to get a glimpse of attention. Helia is a bit rougher than Neona; adventurous and not scared of the world beyond the desert.

Neona
Neona is Helia's twinsister and the third child of Mayonaka. She too is famous for her beauty, as well as her elegance. Neona is the typical princess; she knows all protocols by heart and dreams about meeting her dream prince at a ball. While Helia is outgoing, Neona is more scared of the world beyond her safe home.
