After his parents, brothers and sisters are killed in an accident, Alfred the little duck gets raised by Henk the mole, a friend of the family. He has a lot of adventures, from saving the fish from automatic fishing boats, till witnessing the overthrowing of his kingdom by an old classmate... And way, way more!
A 52 episode Anime made in Japan, but created by the Dutch artist Herman van Veen, to educate children about politics, 3rd world countries, World War 2 etc etc. It has been aired all over the world (well, ALMOST everywhere) and it's my all time favourite series!
