I wake up and look outside
Maybe someone will walk by
And maybe something happens
Something to take boredom away

Maybe I just need a friend
Maybe I'm just pathetic
But all I know is that one day
You will fail to pretend

I know you're not that mean at all
I know you have a life
I know you might be friends with me
And put away your knife!

Every single day of my life
