Special XXIX: Little Wish VIII: Zach Goes Psycho

The pressure on his lunges became too high! Zach had to breathe, but he know he shouldn't! The surface was so near! Gasping he reached the surface, immediately falling back into the strong waves but Zach didn't give up.
With all his strength he tried to get to the beach. He was lucky that the beach wasn't that far, but the waves were strong and Kitt became heavier and colder with the second. "Don't give up Kitt!" He cried. "You still have to kick my butt a zillion times!"
Finally Zach felt sand under his feet and as fast he could he ran out of the water. Carefully he laid Kitt down and carefully listened... no heartbeat. "Come on Kitt!" Zach shook her from one side to another. "Don't do this to me! I don't know that CPR thing they do on TV!"
At that moment, a pair of hands pushed him away. "Out of my way!" Mika yelled and kneeled at Kitt. "Come on Kitt, don't give up! Healing Heart!"
Terrified, Zach saw the pale face from Kitt and Mika's efforts to bring back life in her body. Kimi laid her hands on Zach. "Zach, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault."
Zach looked at the sand. His hands trembled. "No..." He shook his head, while a tear escaped from his eyes. "This is not your fault..." He felt something hot inside. Anger began to build inside his body, growing from second to second.
Suddenly Kimi had to let go of Zach because he had become so hot! "Zach?" She asked and saw him standing up.
"They are going to pay!" Zach walked away.
Derak stopped him. "No, don't be foolish!" He said. "They'll turn you to dust!"
Angry, Zach pushed Derak away, leaving him with a burned arm. Without talking, Zach left the beach. His eyes were red with fire and each time he touched something, it turned to crisp. "You can't hide any more." Zach said with a calm, yet filled with hate, voice. "I KNOW where you are... and this time... I'll finish you off!"
Hard Tsukiyo pushed Moka against the wall. "Well, finally." She smiled. "It was about time!"
"Leave me alone!" Moka yelled. "What on earth do you want from me?"
"Your painful death." Yuugao smiled. Moka tried to punch her but she jumped back. "Awh, our little boy is trying to fight!" With a wave of her hand, she magically let shackles appear that caught Moka. "Don't worry kid, it will all be over soon." Yuugao came close and Moka kicked her away.
"Yuugao!" Tsukiyo yelled worried and when she saw her little sister crawled back up, she slashed Moka with her long and sharp fingers nails. Blood dripped from his face while Tsukiyo forced him to look at her. "Don't try anything Moka! You ARE going to die! And there is nothing you can do about it!"
Tsukiyo stepped aside and Yuugao walked at Moka. "And don't count on your friends." She evilly smiled. "Because one is already dead! And this time, it was not our fault!" She placed her hands on Moka's head and concentrated.
Moka screamed of agony when the Dream Fairy started to take away all his hopes and dreams.
A blinding light appeared and Lady Luna ran at Yuugao and Moka. "Moka!" She yelled but Tsukiyo jumped before her.
"So we meet again Air Guardian." Tsukiyo smiled. "You are too late; nothing can help him any more."
"I just know there is still time!" Lady Luna looked at Moka. "I will not loose my family again!"
Tsukiyo showed her long nails. "Then you'll have to try and beat me first!" Tsukiyo jumped at Lady Luna and tried to slash her, but agile Lady Luna jumped aside.
"Moon Speed!" She cried and quickly she was at the other side of the room. She wanted to pull Yuugao away from Moka, but it felt like her hands were burning.
"It's already too late!" Tsukiyo jumped at Lady Luna. "If you force Yuugao off now, Moka is surely dying!"
At that moment a young girl pushed Tsukiyo away. "Ember!" Lady Luna yelled, a bit surprised but also very happy to see her soul sister.
"Good thing I followed them!" She grinned and changed into Lady Ignis. "Let's fight fire with fire!"
"No, you might hit Moka!" Lady Luna stopped her sister.
"Are you saying we can't do anything?" Lady Ignis looked helpless.
All of a sudden the door went up into flames. All looked back and saw Zach, burning like fire. "This doesn't look good..." Lady Luna bit on her lips.
Slowly Zach stepped inside and passed the Ladies. Tsukiyo reacted immediately and slashed him with her nails. Zach got hit... but didn't seem to care. He stood firm. He looked at Tsukiyo's hand... and put it on fire!
Tsukiyo screamed of pain and put her hand in the nearest bucket of water she could find. When she saw her hand, it was really burned and her nails were destroyed. "Jeez, what's the matter with you kid?" Tsukiyo yelled at Zach.
"You killed Kitt!" Zach yelled. "And now I'm going to kill you!"
Lady Ignis grabbed Zach's arm. "No Zach, don't do it! If you kill them out of vengeance, your heart will be possessed by darkness!"
"Don't tell me what to do!" Zach disobeyed and walked at Yuugao. With a smash of his hand, he pushed her away from Moka, leaving the boy hanging like a puppet. "Ultimate Zako Y Chosen!" Zach yelled and blasted the Dream Fairies at the wall.
The impact they made was enough to let the house fall apart. "We have to get out of here Yuugao!" Tsukiyo grabbed her sister and teleported away.
Lady Luna ran at Moka and felt his head, while Lady Ignis broke the magical chains. "Thank goodness." She sighed relieved. "It was not too late."
Lady Ignis saw Zach standing in the middle of the room. "Zach, we have to get out of here!"
Zach didn't reply and Lady Ignis tried to get close by calling his name, but when a part from the roof fell between them, she had to retreat. "Zach, don't be so stupid! Get out of here!" Then her vision was disturbed and Lady Luna and she had no other choice than to flee.
Outside, Yuugao felt her head. "Drats, I was almost there!" She cursed.
Tsukiyo looked at her hand. "I don't understand! That boy should be a plant!" She bit on her lips. "He should be devastated that he lost his little girlfriend!"
"So what are we going to do now?" Yuugao asked.
Tsukiyo looked at the burning house. Suddenly something appeared from it and walked in their direction. "I think running away would be a nice option! That guy is back!"
But Tsukiyo and Yuugao jumped up and ran away, with a burning Zach on their trail.
"Derak, are you okay?" Kimi asked while Derak felt his arm.
"Argh, why on earth did he do that?" Derak saw that a part of his jacket had simply melted. "He can't face those Dream Fairies alone!"
Kimi looked at the sand. "Don't be so sure about that." She swallowed. "Did you see the look in his eyes? He doesn't care any more. He only has one more wish: to destroy Tsukiyo and Yuugao."
At that moment small coughs filled the beach. "Kitt!" Derak yelled and crawled at her. "You made it!"
Mike almost fell forward over Kitt; she was terribly exhausted. Kimi managed to catch her in the nick of time. Kitt slowly opened her eyes. She tried to say something, but she simply couldn't.
"Moka..." Mika softly sniffed.
"Don't worry about Moka!" They heard and they saw Lady Kim, Lady Gaia and Lady Aqua. "He is going to be fine."
Mika sighed relieved. "But don't be so sure about Zach!" Lady Gaia continued. "He must be stopped! If he kills Tsukiyo and Yuugao, his soul will belong to darkness for ever!"
"Then there is no time to loose!" Derak picked up Kitt and ran away with her. "You help Mika!" He yelled at Kimi.
"Zach?" Kitt managed to squeeze out of her lips.
"No time!!" Derak replied. "We have to find him soon; you'll understand why!" And he left for the town that had a fiery glow hanging above it.
Yuugao jumped away for a ray of fire. "What has gotten into that guy?!" She yelled terrified. "I've never seen a human being this strong!"
Tsukiyo pulled her away in the nick of time. "I'd suggest we'd run but I think that boy will hunt us down forever! We have to fight!"
Tsukiyo attacked with a magical spell, but a fire screen protected Zach. "I never had a special wish!" He growled. "I never wanted anything! I HAD EVERYTHING!"
"Everyone has wishes!" Tsukiyo yelled back. "No one can reach perfect happiness!"
"I was happy!" Zach clenched his fists. "I had everything I ever wanted! And you destroyed it!"
Yuugao stood up. "You must have a wish; you can't fool us!"
"Oh yes, I have one now!" Zach said with a low and dark voice. "I will not rest until I've turned you into ashes!" He raised his hands. "Ember Rain!!!"
His most strongest attack, the one he never mastered completely, was launched and hit everything in the surrounding. Trees were burned; this was a complete inferno!
Tsukiyo and Yuugao got hit also and blasted with a mighty force against the ground. Burn marks were all on their bodies, but they managed to survive. When they looked up, they saw Zach; kneeling and panting heavily.
"Stupid Kid!" Tsukiyo smiled. "You blasted yourself too! How angry you may be, you'll never have the power to master that attack!"
"I made a promise." Zach stepped up. "I will not rest until you are gone!" He didn't notice the burning houses and nature that was around him.
"Zach don't!" He heard behind him and Lady Ignis ran at him. "You'll destroy everything!"
"A small price to pay." Zach said through his teeth.
Lady Ignis tried to stop Zach. "Don't punish innocent people for what they have done."
"They have killed Kitt!" Zach snapped back. "I don't care about anything else!"
"Would Kitt have wanted this?" Lady Ignis then yelled. "Would Kitt have wanted that you destroy everything just so that you can have your revenge?"
"Kitt is dead!" Zach yelled. "And they must pay!" He raised his arms again. "Ember...!"
"Zach no!" Zach stopped and looked back. A girl with fiery hair leaned against Derak.
"K... Kitt?" Zach mumbled for a moment. "You're... alive?"
"She made it?" Yuugao was surprised. "Great! So, that kid never lost anyone so his rage should vanish. Pweh!"
Zach turned back at the Dream Fairies. "You will pay!"
"But she is alive!" Tsukiyo tried. "We did nothing wrong!"
"Zach, stop it!" Slowly Kitt walked at Zach. "You don't want this!"
"Oh yes, I do want this!" Zach aimed at Tsukiyo. "They killed you!"
"I'm pretty darn alive right now!" Even though she felt really weak, she knew she had to act as normal as possible, just to convince nothing was wrong with her. Kitt almost tripped and leaned against a tree. "You are caught in a downward spiral!" Kitt yelled. "If you kill them out of vengeance, you will want to have more!"
"That won't happen!" Zach made a fireball; seeing Tsukiyo and Yuugao trying to hide from Zach. "When they are dead, we can finally go on with our lives!"
Kitt stepped before Zach and slapped him as hard as she could. Zach looked astounded at Kitt and the fireball vanished. "You'll stop being such a jerk right now! This isn't you!"
"Yeah, listen to her!" Tsukiyo screamed from the back.
Kitt turned at them. "If I were you I would SHUT UP, otherwise I'll attack WITH him!"
At that moment, Mika and Kimi reached them too. The Ladies followed them. Moka was awake, but very weak too. "We are all here Zach!" Kimi yelled. "I may be just an outsider to your group, but even I can see how close you are. Don't throw that away!"
"Come home with me Zach." Kitt prayed. "Please. Don't let them ruin you!"
Zach suddenly grabbed Kitt and the flames slowly died out. "I thought I lost you!" He cried. "I was so afraid you were dead!"
Kitt cried too. "When I saw you kissing Kimi, I thought..."
"I didn't mean to!" Zach apologised. "I just want to hold you."
Kitt swallowed and nodded. Both sat down at the ground, just holding each other in a firm embrace. Mika took Moka's hand and smiled at him. Moka smiled back and both hugged each other.
When Derak spotted them, he sighed. "Vena..." He sighed.
Kimi looked at Zach and Kitt. She felt like peace had entered her heart. "I'm glad you found someone Zach." She smiled whispering. "I hope she'll make you happy."
Zach suddenly noticed something. Kitt's embrace wasn't that firm any more! He quickly looked at her, worried something happened and indeed, something happened... Kitt had fallen asleep.
Zach smiled and Derak noticed it too. "Heh, I hope she didn't think you were too boring." He joked.
"Me too." Zach replied with a trembling voice.
Derak stood up and spotted the Dream Fairies who tried to get away. "Well, what should we do with them?"
