Special V: Chibi Aqua's first adventure: a dreamer's dream

She sat in the middle of the dark cave. Lady Aqua, formerly known as Shelly Stellamare, looked a bit around in her old form and sighed deeply. For a moment, it seemed as if a little tear escaped from the eye, but she quickly pushed it away.
"What's wrong?" She heard. She looked aside. It was Chibi Luna, her new sister. "Why are you so sad?"
Shelly sighed deeply. "Nothing...."
"Don't fool me." Chibi Luna said and came closer. "We share each other's mind."
"Then why do you ask what is wrong?"
Chibi Luna giggled. "It is a lot more relieving when you say it yourself." She laid her little hand on her arm. "So, what is wrong?"
"It has been 10 years...." She looked at the bright aqua eyes. "We've trained 10 years and we've completely mastered our powers. Yet I still feel like I'm missing something."
Chibi Luna smiled. "Then why don't you go?" Shelly looked at her. "Who can stop you?"
The ocean was blue and calm. Nobody could be seen within miles. However, underneath the surface, there was a lot of life.
At the bottom of the sea, Shelly looked happily around. She wasn't able to do this 10 years ago, before she became the Guardian of Water. She was around and played with the animals. Shelly grabbed the vin of a dolphin and let it pull her.
After a while, she let go and landed at the bottom again. Shelly looked up. It was so calm and peaceful here. In her 10 years of training, she never had one day off.
Suddenly, Shelly focused. Did she saw something? She lifted herself and swam up. Hidden between some plants, she looked again. No, she didn't dream it! They were real!
Shelly gazed at the 2 merpeople who swam by. Should she follow them? Shelly decided to follow them, but she wasn't quick enough. She needed a better form.
Quickly she changed into a mermaid. And if they would see her, they wouldn't think of her being a spy, but as one of them. The merpeople led Shelly through the whole ocean and Shelly wondered where they would be going.
Her question would be answered within minutes, because the merpeople swam to a large under water city. Shelly gazed from behind a rock. In her heart, she always knew that they were real, but this was a dream coming true.
So, what was there to loose? Shelly swam to the people and mingled. She ended up on a market and looked around.
"Hey missy, what about a nice coral necklace?" A salesmen asked.
"No thanks." She politely replied.
"Get your fresh seaweed here!" A woman yelled. Shelly almost became deaf.
Shelly kept on looking around and suddenly crashed into somebody. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" She quickly apologised. She looked at the young mermen. 'Mm,' she thought 'have seen worse... a lot worse!'
"It's okay." He answered. "Hey, I've never seen you here before."
"I... ehm... I've got to leave." Shelly said and swam away.
Shelly ended up crying on a lonely rock. She didn't knew why she was crying. She felt so strange. Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder. Scared, she looked back. It was the same boy.
"Hey, why did you swam away?" He asked.
"I don't belong here." She mumbled
"Of course you do." He answered.
"No I don't!" Shelly cried.
The boy looked at her. "You belong here if your heart is here." Shelly looked up. "Does your heart belong here?"
Shelly nodded and smiled. He really had a way to cheer her up! "I'm Ch... ehm... Shelly."
"I'm Diver." He took her head. "Why don't you come back to the market? I'll buy you a real treat!"
Shelly followed Diver back to the market. She really had fun. They went to the circus and did some rides at the fair. They whole day was fine, until she suddenly heard a little voice in her head.
'Chibi Aqua, it's time. Come home.'
Shelly sighed deeply. 'C'mon. Give me half an hour.'
'Don't forget who you are.'
'I won't, now leave me!'
"Something wrong?" Diver asked.
Shelly smiled. "No, not at all! But...."
All of a sudden, they heard screaming. Shelly and Diver looked, and suddenly saw sharks attacking the people!
"My god!" Diver yelled. "We've got to do something!"
Diver swam towards the sharks, but they were too quick. He suddenly saw a little girl and 2 sharks swimming at her. He dove and grabbed her... at that moment the tail of the shark hit him and bashed him against the wall.
At the same time, Shelly swam somebody standing who observed the attack. In his hand, there was a trident.
"People of the Misty Sea, hear me!" He yelled. "Accept me as your king and you will live!"
Shelly swam at Diver, but a lot of people were all around him. She wanted to get close, when she suddenly heard: "It's too late."
Shelly was shocked. For the first time in 10 years, she had another friend than her 4 soul sisters... and now he was already dead....
Tears welled up in her eyes. That guy had the nerve to hurt innocent people. She pointed at him.
"You!" She growled. "Get lost!"
A woman tried to stop her. "Don't be such a fool dear!" She tried.
The man on the rocks laughed. "A small girl is telling me what to do?"
Shelly's eyes became red. "You! I said, GET LOST!" Because of great anger, Shelly forgot the rule about secrecy and transformed into Lady Aqua.
The man was a bit shocked, but suddenly send all his sharks at Lady Aqua. All the merpeople swam away, while Lady Aqua stood still.
"I am the Guardian of Water, you cannot stop me!" She raised her arms and at the same time, all sorts of sea stars lifted itself and began to glow. "Star Shine!" Lady Aqua yelled and the stars shot at the sharks.
After hit several times, the sharks swam away. "Come back, you cowards!" He glared at Lady Aqua. "Don't think you have defeated me yet! Wave Crasher!" A very strong beam shot at Lady Aqua and blasted her against the wall.
Dizzy, Lady Aqua tried to get up, but couldn't. That was one powerful attack! "Sister, lend me your eyes." She mumbled.
Lady Aqua opened her eyes and saw clearer now. The man from the rocks was now before her, aiming his trident at her.
"Nobody defeats Lord NightStorm!" He looked at his trident. "Trident Po...."
"Bubble Ball!" Lady Aqua yelled and blasted a ball at Lord NightStorm.
He screamed of agony and became hundreds of bubbles. One by one, the bubbles began to pop, until there was nothing left of the hated Lord.
Lady Aqua looked at the trident. She now realised what had happened. She had lost a friend and revealed her secret. Some guardian she was. she began to cry.
Suddenly, she heard the voices of her sisters again. 'Look up,' the said, 'Open your eyes and look up.'
Lady Aqua obeyed and saw the merpeople around her. "You saved us." One said. "Thank you."
Then she bowed. Other merpeople followed. Lady Aqua looked around.
"Who are you, oh mighty one?" An old merman asked.
Lady Aqua doubted, what should she say? "I'm... I have a lot of names...."
The old man swam at her. "The prophecy tells us that the one with no name is destined to become our queen."
"But I do have a name." Lady Aqua tried. "Chibi Aqua, Shelly Stellamare and I'm now Lady Aqua."
But the merpeople didn't listen. "Hail Queen Aqua!"
'Well done sis....' She heard the giggling voice of Chibi Luna. 'You have a new name.'
"Get out of my head." Lady Aqua said smiling. Was this also her destiny, being the queen of the merpeople of Misty Sea? It would be a dream coming true....
One of the merpeople gave her the trident of the evil Lord. "My queen, what are you going to do with this?"
Lady Aqua took it. "I guess I know a place for it...."
